Call for papers 2022-2023

The journal of the Asociación de Historia Actual, Historia Actual Online, has opened a new period for receiving articles, Dossier proposals and bibliographic reviews for its issues corresponding to the years 2022 and 2023.

- ALL texts must be sent through the journal's platform following the criteria of style and citations present on the web.

- ALL texts will be subjected to a double-blinded peer review process.

- The bibliographic reviews will be evaluated by the editorial team.

- To formalize a dossier proposal, an email should be sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with the subject “DOSSIER PROPOSAL”, followed by the surnames of at least one of the coordinators, attaching a word file including:

  1. Summary of the topic in a maximum of 200 words.
  2. The names of the coordinators.
  3. A list of the authors who will participate in said dossier.

- The thematic dossier will be composed of a maximum of 5 research articles on the proposed theme, in addition to a presentation of the same signed by the coordination.

- Once a proposal is approved, it will be communicated to the main contact and the texts can be sent, which will undergo a peer review process.

- In the event that one of the proposed texts is not approved by the reviewers, the dossier coordination may propose another text in its place, which will also go through the peer review process.

Historia Actual Online is a multilingual, quarterly journal indexed in JCR, in the process of evaluation for Scopus and with an ICDS of 9.8 in MIAR.
